I am in love with the house I moved into last February. I especially love my kitchen. I like to french press my coffee and boil perogies and make thai food here. Hanging out in my kitchen brings me a lot of joy. I also love to observe how others express themselves in the space where they live. Last week my friend Melissa showed me the work of a photographer named Todd Selby who shoots people in their homes. Some of his work is so wonderful. I especially love the image below of the home of a girl who lives in London. What a fun and colorful arrangement of clutter! I plan to shoot a project like his eventually.
Check out Todd Selby's work here. [link]

these pictures make me happy.
Hi Brae!
This post (and your love of tokyo) makes me wonder if you've read Banana Yoshimoto's novel titled "kitchen." I just read it and fell in love.
I just stumbled upon your blog and I seriously think that my friend used to live in your house in Philadelphia. The kitchen is so familiar, and unusual.
Small world.
