Today I modeled for a photographer who needed a lifestyle shot for a piece on springtime allergies for the Philadelphia Metro. Fun! I got to keep the brown tissue box I'm holding, which is nice, because I was just about to buy some.

I was sitting outside of a neighborhood coffee shop the other day and these kids were hanging out across the street outside of the Chinese take out place. They kept saying over and over again, "Man, it smells like bullshits out here!"

snippets

I enjoy hearing snippets of conversations as I walk through my day. Here are a few sentences I've heard over the past week.

"I'm a firm believer that people don't change. You have a kid with a woman and leave her, have a kid with another woman and you're gonna leave her too."

This man was walking towards me when he said this and I thought he was looking at me, but then I quickly saw the cell phone in his hand. The funny thing is, I looked like a mom because I was holding the hand of the 3 year girl I take care of once a week.


"But thank you for the compliment. I feel as though it looks good today....too."

Check out this adorable, ugly Easter flower creation I bought for my house mate. Isn't it cute? It's so South Philly. I bought it around the corner for five bucks, and walked home giggling.

Check out this amazing envelope my father sent me last week. I get amazing envelopes like this from him just about every week, believe it or not. This one especially pleases me when I stare at it. The stamp is actually personalized. It's a photograph of my little brother Pax dressed up as a jester of some sort.
